Hey all,
There have been some questions on these lists regarding my 'recent'
module and just wanted to drop a short note letting people know that
I've released a *BETA* version of the module on my site
(http://snowman.net) at http://snowman.net/projects/ipt_recent/ .
This is still very much beta code. I've tested it some on a spare
machine that I have but have not yet put it on my production firewall.
I'd love to hear feedback from people on how well it works for them.
I'll be doing some more testing of all the various module options,
iptables options and stress testing with my test machine and once I
think it's stable enough will put it on my production firewall. A few
days or maybe a week after that I'll submit a patch against the
Netfilter CVS tree to update the version there.
Thanks,
=09
Stephen
