How to count bytes for one chain?

Hello people!

I created my own accounting chain and now I'd like to do as follows:

a) get the total bytes passed through that chain (it consists of more than 1
rule!)
b) zero the chain

How could I reach this? I've got some troubles since I got 4 entries (my 4
rules) in that chain, but the chain doesn't display its total!
