Format of log file

Hi all,=20
I'm developing a simple log analizer for netfilter but what =
makes me wonder is just the complexity of log file generated by =
iptables.
It doesn't follow an "exact" rule, I mean if we would analize it by awk, =
for example.
The question is: will we get a kind of "standard" log output in the next =
releases, such as ipchains did?
However I'm a proud user of itables because I'm finlly abe to receive =
more and more details respect to what I ha by iptables....the prolem is =
jus when I think to myself as programmer :o)
I wait proposal and suggestions about my log file analizer by gawk/awk.
