I've just given a presentation on the current state of development a couple
of days ago at OLS2001 :)

just read the netfilter-devel mailinglist, you will find lots of hints on
who's working on what there.

Also, there is the TODO list in CVS, which should even be more verbose.

And if that is not enough, you should subscribe to the netfilter-cvslog
mailinglist (http://lists.gnumonks.org/), then you will receive a notice
every time something in CVS has changed...
