about ping to outside

I have two linux machine. One for router use which has two NIC(1.1.1.1 and
192.168.1.1). Another is internal machine(192.168.1.2). When I try to ping
from the internal machine to outside DNS(SAY 1.1.1.101), it doesn't work.
But it actually can ping both NICs of router machine. I set the default
route of the internal machine is 192.168.1.1. I would like to know the
problem is about my firewall or network config setup? Thanks.
