kernel 2.4.6 ipt_unclean issues; resolved? or not?

Have the issues with ipt_unclean with kernel 2.4.6 been resolved, and a
patch available? Or is it still being worked on?

I see things such as:

kernel: ipt_unclean: TCP option 2 at 28 too long

Luckily i compiled everything as modules, and got cheap and renamed the
module to avoid it being used in my scripts.

If this has not been resloved, and someone needs packet dumps etc, from a
host running slackware linux 8.0 kernel 2.4.6 with iptables 1.2.2 , let me
know I would be happy to help.
