Internet out - mail in

Hi all.
I have setup a Iptables firewall with a LAN,DMZ and INTERNET - works fine.

Now I have setup a mailserver on the DMZ and wants to use my internet
connection to read mail from this server via internet mail (same ipaddress)-
problem ... no connection to mailserver is the reply.

If I connects from another IPadress (internet) there's no problem at all

Do I have to setup a rule when going from my LAN to Internet - and from
internet to DMZ using the same Internet IP?
