Where to put script?

You can place the script anywhere, but you'll need to add it in to the
runlevel area on startup (or something like /etc/rc.d/rc.local I think, so
you can just put a line in there like this:-
/home/username/ip_scriptname
or wherever your script may be.
This is the way I'd do it, it may not be correct though...
