OT: my ssh connections tend to jitter :(

It is all LAN, but more precisely it looks a bit like this.

 Win-Client                                                    Linux
 3c905@100mb <-100-> 100mb switch <-10-> 10mb switch <-10--> 3c905@10mb

It also happens when i dial up from home@115k.
I have TOS Minimize delay set up for SSH, telnet, and ftp
ftp-data has Maximize throughput

Oh,btw, can anyone tell me what this ther TOS value for nntp mean ?
i forgot the name. i read about it in tcp-ip illustrated.

Oh, and one more thing. I know 4 types of TOS, but the TOS field has space
for more, are others used?
