iptables userland tools won't compile....

Hi

I'm running Linux 2.4.0-test8 on a Mandrake 7.1 box.  it complains about
me needing to apply a kernel patch, but the patch dosn't apply cleanly.
what gives?  I don't think that there should be any interaction between
your patches and the reiserfs patches I applied.  The patch you supply is
for test6 anyway.  

Do you have any more updated userland tooles other then 1.1.1 ?

On a side note, why do you ignore the "./configure, make, make install"
convention?
