MAC addresses

Hi,

when iptables 1.1.1 running on a kernel 2.4-test8 logs MAC
addresses it seems to append a :08:00 on every MAC
address. Has this :08:00 a special meaning ?

Here an snippet of a log :

TCP Drop IN=eth0 OUT= MAC=00:60:08:13:a6:12:00:50:73:43:7a:29:08:00 SRC=
                                                              ^^^^^
and the arp entries of both hosts
xxxx at 00:50:73:43:7A:29 [ether] on eth0  
yyyy at 00:60:08:13:A6:12 [ether] on eth0
