iptables 1.1.0 --mark option?

Can anybody tell me what happened to the '--mark' option in iptables
1.1.x ?
I have an old copy of iptable 0.1.12 on a redhat 6.0 system, and we're
using it to setup CBQ within a 2.3.18 kernel.

Apologies if this has been answered before, but the archive for this
mailing list (listproc.samba.org) seems to be offline "due to disk
failure".
