NAT on a multi-homed box

Well, I don't know if anyone has had the same problem (or has not setup
iptables and ipnatctl correctly, which ever the sace may be), but
i solved (not in the best way, however) my problem by masking my internal
IP's so half are masq'd and half are not.  now, since the IP of my second
NIC isn't within the masq range, i can actually access services through
that IP from the box itself.
If there's something obvious I'm missing in setting up ipnatctl, please
let me know, cause I can't figure it out.
