Question about ftp and logging

I got stuff working using that neat nifty script that was posted a couple 
weeks ago.

2 questions:

1.  What can I remove out of it to get rid or hide the 
ip_conntrack_ftp_help: match stuff

2.  Why does a program like fmirror connect to a site, and then just sit 
there, but if I run it without the script enabled, it works.

Any input appreciated.
