no. changing adresses is part of the job of a NAT helper. Also, the
actuall address changes are done by the nat core. Plase see the netfilter
hacking howto.

Again, conntrack modules are about _tracking_. NAT modules about _changing_.

Forget about linux 2.2. when you think use netfilter/iptables - it's
