Opinions anyone?

Hi,

just wondering if i could get sum opinions on the following...

1. When would the best time be to use REJECT, DROP & TCP RST?

2. How deeply can netfilter rules actually go? and would it be "sane"
   to dig 4 levels deep? sacrifice of cpu power needed?
