If you're having a problem with Debian packages, you should report it there:
<a href="https://www.debian.org/Bugs/">https://www.debian.org/Bugs/</a>
The people maintaining the upstream project are usually not also maintaining
the distribution packages. Even if I knew what went wrong on your system and
how to fix it, I could not push a fix since I don't have access to Debian's
package source.
You will probably face the same reply with firewalld on Github.</pre>
