nftables PDF documents configure.ac patch
The configure.ac script contains logic that conditionally builds PDF documents
if dblatex is detected at compile time. The attached patch replaces the
configure-time check with an enable flag.
As the nft/nftables package maintainer for Gentoo, I am requesting this change
be added to the sources. Currently, I have to manually apply the patch for
every Gentoo release because the current behavior goes against Gentoo policies.
Moreover, I believe having a flag to enable and disable PDF document
generation will lead to a more consistent build results which could help debug
any future issues that may arrive through the changes of nft or dblatex.</pre>
