It looks like the built iptables tool uses the wrong libxtables DSO. You sould
either make sure LD_LIBRARY_PATH is set up correctly to prefer the version of
libxtables installed along with your built iptables or uninstall the
distribution's libxtables.

This does not look like a problem in iptables itself but rather a library
conflict, therefore closing. Feel free to reopen if the problem persists for
you despite following the instructions above.
