Yes, iptables must be fixed -- but it must be fixed by the maintainer of that
external patch.  Random changes made by an external maintainer which break
iptables should not be expected to be tracked by iptables maintainers. 
(Arguably, libip*t_condition should not even be part of the iptables
distribution at this point)

and ask _HIM_ to submit a patch to make his patch work with current iptables.
